Economic Value Generated - Revenues
Revenues totaled $15.1 billion ($14.6 billion in 2010). This includes revenues as reported, as well as net gain on the sale of assets and equity investments, and interest and dividend income.


Economic Value Distributed
Operating Costs

Operating Costs totaled $8.2 billion ($7.5 billion in 2010) based on Fuel, Purchased Energy and Operation and Maintenance expenses, adjusted for those amounts reported in the sections "Employee Wages & Benefits" and "Community Investments/ Contributions


Employee Wages & Benefits
Employee wages and benefits totaled $2.1 billion ($2.4 billion in 2010). This represents $1.6 billion ($1.9 billion in 2010) included in reported expenses, and $0.5 billion ($0.5 billion in 2010) that was capitalized during the year.

Payments to the Providers of Capital
Payments totaled $1.9 billion ($1.9 billion in 2010). This represents $974 million ($1,026 million in 2010) in reported expenses (Interest Expense excluding capitalized interest, minority interest expense and preferred stock dividends) and $896 million


Payments to Governments
Payments totaled $668 million ($595 million last year).


Community Investments - Contributions
Payments totaled $37 million ($48 million last year).
